Try it free

Every download starts with a 7-day trial. Open Picmal and press Try free in the sidebar: every tool runs on that Mac for 7 days, no key, no card, no account.

The trial is tied to the Mac, so a reinstall does not restart it. The command line, Shortcuts, Raycast and watched folders need a license.

Activate your license

1. In the menu bar, open Picmal → Register license
2. Enter your license key
3. Click Activate

Your license is tied to your Mac and stored securely in the keychain. It works offline after the initial activation.

Deactivate

If you’re moving to a new Mac, deactivate your license first:

1. In the menu bar, open Picmal → Register license
2. Click Deactivate

This frees up the license so you can activate it on another machine.

You can also deactivate a device remotely from the license portal, handy if you no longer have access to the old Mac:

1. Go to the license portal
2. Enter your purchase email. You’ll get a sign-in link
3. Open the link, find the device, and click Deactivate

Activate from the run button

You don’t have to find the menu. Press Convert, Compress, or the run button in any other tool without a license and Picmal asks for one on the spot. Enter your key and the run starts as usual, with the files still in the window.

Buy a license

Visit picmal.app to purchase a license. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Lost your license key?

If you can’t find your license key or the original email:

1. Go to the license portal
2. Enter the email address you used when purchasing
3. You’ll receive a sign-in link along with your license keys

The same portal is where you sign in with the emailed link to see your keys and the Macs they’re active on. Picmal has nothing to renew.
